Queen Elizabeth - Sculpture (table top size)

At the death of Queen Mary, the Protestants were relieved by Queen Elizabeth, who was a Protestant sympathizer and allowed the Reformers to return and provided some margin of refuge. When they returned, they brought with the Geneva Bible, a study Bible in a series of sizes. Unlike the pulpit folios of the past, here was a hand-held copy with notes, maps, concordance, Roman font, chapter and verse divisions.
