Tyndale New Testament - 1526

Introductory Special Price $99 (suggested retail $149.99)

The 1526 William Tyndale English New Testament stands as the first printed English Bible translated directly from the original Greek — a work that would ignite the spread of Scripture in the English language and shape the course of the Reformation.

Originally printed in Worms, Germany, and smuggled into England, Tyndale’s New Testament carried the Word of God to the common people at great personal cost. Though opposed and often destroyed upon arrival, its influence could not be stopped. This translation became the seedbed of the English Bible, laying the foundation for nearly every major English translation that followed.

This beautiful facsimile is produced in full color using digitally collated and corrected imagery from the three surviving copies in existence today — two preserved in England and one in Germany. Recreated from the same original image files used in our collector’s edition, it captures the clarity and character of the original text, including its distinctive black gothic type and quarto format.

Printed on high-quality opaque paper and bound to reflect the historic presentation of the original work, this edition offers a faithful and accessible way to engage with one of the most important printed works in Christian history.

As we commemorate the 500th anniversary of Tyndale’s 1526 New Testament, this facsimile serves as both a historical artifact and a powerful reminder of the price paid to bring the Bible to the English-speaking world. It stands as a testament to the enduring truth that the Word of God was meant to be read, understood, and lived by all people.
