Known as "the father of the English Bible", gifted linguist William Tyndale is best remembered for his passionate desire to provide a Bible in the common man's language at a time in history where it only existed in Hebrew, Greek, and Latin.
Tyndale's 1536 New Testament was his last and most elaborate edition, with a beautiful Gothic typeface and detailed woodcut illustrations throughout.
