William Tyndale - Sculpture (table top size)

This striking table-top sculpture honors William Tyndale.

William Tyndale, master teacher and scholar, who was most familiar with the texts of Hebrew, Greek, Latin, Syriac and others. With the advent of Erasmus 1516; 19, 22 editions of the Latin/Greek parallel and Greek text New Testaments, William Tyndale was ready to not only develop the English equivalent in many cases, but also to enhance the meaning with new improvements in precise wording, sentence structure, accent and reference development. The 1526 English New Testament would be the first of seven English received text translations, concluding with the most elegant and accurate of all the Authorized King James Version  of 1611.
